A haiku of speed

as the Tour de France passed through our village:

fast as a shadow

the peleton’s passing shines

helmets, lycra, tyres

  1. Brilliant! I like this one even better than the other one. This one, with the people, the road signs, the cameras, the light and lycra and motion and sunshine: perfection.

  3. Yes, a great photo! You have really captured the speed!! And it went past so fast you did not even see me ‘hovering’ over the peleton 🙂 ! Have followed the Tour for about 11 years: for me in Australia it means staying up all night every July and trying to sleep during the day and doing my work pie-eyed and loving every moment of it. Thanks for a vey special ‘snap’!!
